MOVE INTO FALL WITH PEACE, PRESENCE, AND PURPOSE

How can remaining in the present support us in maintaining a calm nervous system?

How do we practice staying in our bodies when the systems around us consistently aim to disembody us?

How can our presence and self-awareness connect us more deeply to ourselves and others?

The hustle and bustle of work and life often leave us feeling burnt out, disembodied, and feeling inside tired - the kind of tiredness that sleep cannot remedy. Gaining clarity through transition and remaining steadfast in our visions requires that we practice staying here with ourselves, by any means necessary.

Please join us for Rise & Ground: A Presence Practice, a ten-week experiential workshop and book club aimed at supporting the development of your personal presence practice and rituals. My hope is to provide you with the support you need to materialize your dreams, stay grounded in your body, and remain in right relationship with others in the process.

Many of us start to think about our new year intentions a bit too late. It takes time and commitment (on average, about 66 days) to form a new habit and these days, with distraction after distraction, it is even more challenging to stay the course.

Let's get ahead of the energy you might be seeking to call in for 2024.

This 10-week community gathering will take place on Sundays at 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM Pacific Time (11 AM Eastern) starting September 10 - November 12 and help you develop (or strengthen) your personal presence practice. This workshop will serve partly as a book club, an accountability group, and a wholehearted community gathering as we spend time thinking, feeling, and doing the work of ritual change, together.

Each week, we'll co-create a space for meditation and movement, journaling, and community conversation around presence as liberation. You'll receive:

  1. Weekly Journal Prompts
  2. Guided Grounding and Movement
  3. Facilitated Conversation and Creative Group Exercises
  4. Resources for continued reflection and practice

Keeping center these days has been challenging, but liberation for us all requires that we find ways to return to ourselves again and again in order to better serve the collective.

Let's do that work together.


Who this program is for:

  • Internal and External Changemakers - Anyone looking to shift some personal patterns so that they can have their intended impact in the world.
  • 'Sensitive' Types - Anyone who has BIG feelings and would love a dedicated space to process those feelings, in community.
  • Time travelers - By this I mean, anyone who has trouble keeping their mind and body in the present moment and would like to practice doing so more purposefully.

What you'll need:

  1. Book of Study: The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
  2. A Journal
  3. A comfortable, quiet place to sit
  4. An open mind and heart

What this isn't: Therapy (although it might be therapeutic and support your other efforts towards well-being).

About a week prior to the program start, participants will receive a welcome e-mail, a calendar hold, and supporting details.
